Comedy in the bank safe
A Comedy Show featuring only the best material from some of the best comedians in Switzerland and one special international guest. As one of On The Run Comedy Club’s flagship events, this show is sure to be one of the highlights of the season. Come and laugh on a Thursday night with some top-quality English comedy! There is a lot of comedy in Basel these days, so this show is celebrating some of the best of European comedy!
The show will be hosted by Teddy Hall, a Basel-based comedian that tours Europe and runs many of Basel’s best comedy shows. The show will feature Leila Ladari, Albert Louw and Patrick Moore.
The show takes place in the downstairs theatre in a former bank safe in Unternehmen Mitte, one of Basel’s most iconic locations.
Teddy Hall
Since learning his trade as a comedian in London, Teddy has been performing across Europe for years, exciting audiences with an unpredictable and quick-witted brand of comedy all about language, mental health, sexuality, and dentists. In his base of Basel, Switzerland, he has founded and runs On The Run Comedy Club and co-produces and hosts Comic Strip, a variety show renowned for its beautiful chaos. Headlining shows across Europe, Teddy’s comedy veers from the profound to the inane to the stupid, keeping audiences on their toes, despite this being a very uncomfortable way to sit.
Teddy was nominated for a Swiss Comedy Award (and lost) and has also featured on Comedy Central DE Roast Battle.

Leila Ladari
Leila Ladari is half Swiss, half Austrian, half Tunisian and half arsed when it comes to adding up fractions. With a face like butter wouldn’t melt, but a mouth that’s far from halal, she spends half her time doing stand up comedy, half her time acting and the other half working on new ways to bring shame on her family. Leila was a Rising Star New Act of the Year 2019 finalist. Since then she has performed on stages such as the Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room in London, The Bill Murray, and the Comedy Haus in Zurich.

Albert Louw
Albert brings his mad world to the stage. Born and raised in Johannesburg South Africa, he is filled with unusual tales and an odd perspective on life. His performances, like his clothes, are psychedelic, energetic and eccentric. Currently based in Basel Switzerland, where he runs and hosts several comedy shows. He started comedy in 2018 and has since shared the stage with international acts like Arthur Smith, Janine Harouni, Sid Singh and Barry Hilton just to mention a few.

Patrick Moore
Patrick Moore was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, and grew up on a diet of love, attention, and tofu. In keeping with his unorthodox background, Patrick started his stand-up career in Berlin, Germany. Where he was one of the finalists in the Berlin New Stand Up Awards. He has performed all across Europe, and headlined the Burning Mic festival. He also produces many of his own shows in Berlin as well as a podcast called Patchats.
